
GANG MEMBER SENTENCED ON FEDERAL GUN CHARGES

Jackson, Miss – Terry Williams, 29, of Jackson, pled guilty in U.S. District Court today to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, U.S. Attorney Gregory K. Davis announced. Williams, who was convicted of bank robbery in 2001, was found to be in possession of a firearm during a traffic stop by a Hinds County Deputy Sheriff on February 11, 2012.
Williams will be sentenced by U.S. District Judge Henry T. Wingate on January 18, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. and faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
